The Depot

The Depot in Lewes is an award-winning independent 3-screen cinema with bar kitchen; located in the centre of Lewes, East Sussex, within the South Downs National Park, and adjacent to the railway station.

They offer an innovative programme of mainstream, arthouse and independent films; world cinema, documentaries and classic films; alongside film festivals, live art events, Q&A’s with guest speakers and educational film and creative workshops. Lewes Little Theatre

Everybody involved in the Club – actors, directors, back-stage and Front of House support, set designers and builders, light and sound staff, costume makers and many more – give their time freely and without payment. They have a regular programme of productions – the next one in March 2024 is “Hangmen” by Martin McDonagh. Audition dates soon. Lewes Little Theatre for more. Volunteers welcome.

East Sussex Bach Choir

ESBC contributes through the engagement and commitment of its singers and by giving audiences the opportunity to hear both well-known works and some less well-known works that may deserve to be better know. The Lewes Singers

The Lewes Singers is a small, occasional choir directed by  Nicholas Houghton, formed in 2004 by Nick and his wife Robin. We sing services at cathedrals, sometimes perform concerts and fund-raisers, and are available for weddings and functions. The Lewes Singers

The Musicians of All Saints

The Musicians of All Saints perform contemporary classical music by living composers and 20th century composers whose work deserves a second hearing. A Lewes-based chamber orchestra of professional musicians dedicated to the presentation of both new and unusual works together with a standard repertoire of better-known pieces.

The Con Club
