Wine tasting sessions in Robert’s Bar are back for 2025! Their guest wine experts will take you on a journey through some the worlds best and most underappreciated wine regions. Starting in January with wines from Greece, you can then discover wines from the Southern Rhone Valley and then on to wines of Haute-savoie.

If wine isn’t your thing, you can start the New Year in style and experience the glamour of classic Hollywood in the centre of Lewes! That’s a quote from the Depot website where you are invited to Robert’s Bar , a chic venue at The Depot , every Friday from 17:00 for cocktails.

A recent addition to Lewes High Street has been No 34 which offers “a low-intervention wine bar with a menu focused on simple, seasonal dishes. We do plates of cheese and charcuterie, main courses, desserts, orange and white and red wine, cocktails and non- and low-alcoholic drinks“. Find out more at No 34
