Visit the DOLLY hub

We are a Sustainable Clothing Hub which means we like to get together”

Dolly Sustainable Clothing Hub definitely fits into our idea of a “hidden gem”. Walk inside a small doorway in 3 North Court, Lewes (nestled amongst the antiques shops, cafes and quirky independent stores right next to super convenient parking on Phoenix Causeway) and you will find Diana Uprichard, founder of DOLLY An experienced designer, seamstress and teacher, Diana believes there’s a wealth of power in a tiny needle and thread.

This week she has been running Fashion Revolution Week 2025 which has included demonstrations, taster courses, a Mend in Public drop in (26th April) and much more. The events are run on a donation basis and enable you to get a sense of what The DOLLY Hub is all about.

You are invited to join DOLLY hub and they will help you on your sewing journey. Whether you’re a complete beginner, would love to make a kit but need some hand-holding or simply want to hang out with others after all this time.

From the DOLLY studio in central Lewes, Diana designs and sells her zero-waste cut-out and ready-to-sew clothing Kits. She also provides a thriving bespoke alteration and mending service and runs sewing classes.

You can also buy a range of patterns, kits and vouchers from their online shop.

If you’ve missed Fashion Revolution week, there are always plenty of courses and events so check their website for details. See all events

I’ll also show you how to tinker, adapt and put your personal touch on your DOLLY Kit.
