Lewes Flood Exhibition – Can you help?

Can you help curate a Friends of Lewes exhibition?

Friends of Lewes are looking for volunteers to help set up a new exhibition to recognise the 25th anniversary of the Lewes Flood Anniversary 2000 – 2025.

It will include sourcing photographs, memories, artworks and recollections to display alongside some audio recordings and videos that will also be made. A little bit of time and enthusiasm are more important than previous experience!

If you are interested, please contact the secretary at enquiries@friends-of-lewes.org.uk

The BBC wrote an article about the floods 10 years on in 2020 where you can see images of this terrible flood and the impact it had on the town. See Lewes people remember the floods of 2000
