Lewes Festival of Song – Shubert’s Winterreise

The Lewes Festival of Song began in Lewes in2015 when pianist Nancy Cooley invited some singer friends to take part in a day of three concerts, all featuring the beautiful and diverse German romantic Lieder.

This celebration of art-song is a regular event in the musical calendar, taking place in St. Anne’s Church in Lewes every summer with the next summer festival taking place on Sunday June 29th with three concerts. But you don’t have to wait until the summer as their next concert will be on:
