Lewes was recently described in The Guardian as “one of the happiest places to live with access to nature, a sense of community and culture on your doorstep”.
Lewes Hub is a free community resource aimed at supporting creative organisations and individuals in Lewes. We are a small team or Lewes residents who aim to help you discover the hidden gems in Lewes.
Creative shops are nestled side by side in different streets: a violin maker, galleries, jewellers, potters, photographers, theatrical costume makers, antiques, interior designers – to name a few. There are many musicians delivering top class concerts at various venues across the town and an impressive range of exhibitions and events are held regularly in the local art galleries.
But how many of us really know what is going on behind the small shop front windows? Dig deeper and you will find a wealth of talented people. How many of us turned into a twitten or side street and found a small shop that we didn’t know was there. We hope you will join us.
